Help
Find quick answers about leagues, private access, rankings, rewards, and simulated trading.
Is League of Markets a real investment service?
No. League of Markets is an educational paper-trading league platform without real money. Prices may be delayed or cached.
Do I need an invitation code to register?
Public registration is currently open, so an invitation code is not required. If administrators enable invitation-only registration again, a valid one-time member code or link will be required.
How do I join a league?
Public leagues can be joined from the public leagues list. Private leagues require an invitation link or a known password.
What is the difference between a basic and a professional account?
A basic account is suitable for smaller leagues. A professional account supports longer leagues, larger participant limits, advanced settings, and access to information for finished public leagues. Finished private league details are available only to administrators.
Can I place orders while the exchange is closed?
Execution depends on the league mode. In public market-realistic leagues, off-session market and limit orders reserve cash or shares and wait for the next regular opening. Private practice leagues may allow immediate execution at the latest validated official price. No order executes without valid market data.
What are ranking requirements?
Each league may define minimum buy/sell counts and a minimum investment ratio. Participants who do not meet them appear as #9999 and are excluded from the actual ranking. Equal returns are resolved by the first time requirements were met, first valid buy, valid-trade count, and join time. A valid trade must be at least 1% of starting capital; rapid round trips and trades above the daily recognition cap do not improve the tie-break.
How are AI investment characters handled?
Hosts may choose rule-based value, momentum, dividend, conservative, and other AI investment characters plus a difficulty level within their account limit. AI slots are separate from human capacity, and auto-filled AI can be adjusted only before trading activity starts. AI uses the same prices, fees, and order validation as humans, receives no points, and does not count as an eligible human participant. A calculation-based educational comparison is available after the league ends.
When do I receive reward points?
Points are settled only for qualified fair-play leagues using market-realistic execution, lasting at least two weeks, with at least five verified real members who satisfy ranking, valid-buy, and investment requirements. AI and demo accounts are excluded. Suspicious patterns may hold settlement for review, and grants, reversals, and administrator adjustments are written to an idempotent reward ledger.
Are private leagues fully visible?
No. The list shows only limited read-only information for running or upcoming private leagues. Finished private leagues move to Past Leagues and their details are available only to administrators.
Can prices differ from real market prices?
Yes. External providers, cache, market hours, and FX timing can cause differences. Orders are simulated and are not real market orders. The service may switch to another provider after a failure, but an order can be held when no valid price is available.
Can I search by company name or for a symbol not yet stored locally?
Yes. You may enter a ticker, a company name such as Nvidia, or a close spelling such as Nividia. When the local catalog has no strong match, configured Symbol Search providers are queried in a bounded way and matching stocks/ETFs for the league markets are cached locally. The order button is enabled only after the selected candidate passes a real quote check.
How will I be told when legal documents change?
When administrators enable legal-change email delivery, verified real members are notified by email first. A document-version difference does not immediately block access. Even when re-consent enforcement is enabled, it starts only after successful delivery and the configured review period.
How is the display language selected?
A deliberate EN, DE, or KO selection is stored in the browser and takes priority on later visits. Without a manual choice, a signed-in account uses its country (KR→KO, DE→DE, all others→EN), while a first visit follows the browser language. Administrators default to KO unless they selected another language.
